Ross was born and raised in Graham, Texas.  He is twenty and has been playing guitar for the past six years.  Lyrics flow off the tip of his tongue like the true poet that he is.  Music is not just something he does, it's who he is.  Just like his music, Ross is passionate, driven, energetic, and has quite a wild streak.

Ross Shifflett aka "Shiffy The Kid" has just arrived on the Southern California music scene from his home in North Texas.  His debut album is a map to his soul...Rock 'n Roll with a touch of the Blues.  Not only does Ross write and sing his songs, he does things with a guitar that would make the most seasoned musician stop and want to play along.  The passion and energy with which he plays flows directly from his soul to that of his fans!  Jump on, hold on tight and enjoy the ride that is...Ross Shifflett!

Ross " Shiffy the Kid" Shifflett is shaking heads everywhere with his fresh new blend of Southern Rock and his authentic Texas sound. The 20 year old prodigy constantly has industry executives and the audiences wherever he plays wondering "where did this old soul came from?".

Shiffy the Kid recently finished his debut album and has been playing everywhere from Texas to California in support of the release. His new album is available worldwide on Itunes, Napster, Audiolunchbox, Rhapsody, and many other digital music stores. He recently headlined the Easyriders motorcycle conventions in Portland Oregon, and in San Diego California, selling out all of his mechandise, and receiving incredible reactions from the audience, as well as the vendors, who all wanted a piece of Shiffy the Kid. Shiffy the Kid plans to tour in support of his debut album through 2007 in the southwestern U.S. and with a tour of Europe to follow in the fall 2007. He has also just finished recording 14 new songs for the follow up album due in 2008.

Erik "E-Rok" Richards is producing, playing bass, as well as releasing Shiffy the Kid's albums through the Somis Sound label. E-Rok has worked with Beck, Peter DiStefano (Porno for Pyros), and many other artists. Dave Borla is contributing drums and has worked with Jason Newsted (Metallica), Dangerman, contributed to many motion picture soundtracks, as well as opening for Blondie on one of her recent world tours.
